The Apprentice Legislator was a position within the Apprentice Legislature organization. The oragnization was actively involved in the formation and development of new laws, so that it could get to know the mechanisms of the state apparatus. When a teenager joined the Apprentice Legislature, was with the statement that person wanted to be later worked in the civil service equivalent. The most famous member was Padmé Amidala, who had joined the organization at the age of eight.
