Bib Fortuna was a Twi'lek who hailed from the world of Ryloth. Bib served as a majordomo to Jabba Desilijic Tiure within his criminal empire for many years. Considering he served Jabba for decades, it was unsurprising that few in the galaxy hated the Hutt as much as he did—the Twi'lek majordomo had tried many times unsuccessfully to have Jabba killed. A member of the Una Clan, Bib Fortuna shared friendly terms with the monks of the B'omarr Order that settled within the palace and earned himself a membership in the mysterious order. When his body had died, his brain was forcibly removed from his body by the ancient religious order and placed in a jar for the enlightenment process, but had somehow convinced the monks to place his brain in the body of Firith Olan.

Over the last several years since the death of Jabba the Hutt, Bib Fortuna, while still remaining in the body of Firith Olan, had been using his methods to rebuild Jabba's criminal empire while the palace remained abandoned to the B'omarr Monks. With their help, Fortuna underwent a plastic surgery in order to make Olan's body related to his original body, but for the last few years, he became obese, and had been gathering servants and slaves of his own. Eventually in 10 ABY, Bib Fortuna made his return to the Hutt Castle that was recently abandoned to the monks of the B'omarr Order and became the new master of the palace. However, a year after his takeover, his rule came to an end when Boba Fett and his partner Fennec Shand assumed control, in which Fortuna was assassinated.

Biography[]

Escape[]

Just as Jabba's sail barge exploded, Fortuna managed to escape on a private skiff and returned to the palace to take over. He fought a small battle over the remainder of Jabba's possessions, and was the apparent winner. However, soon the mysterious monks of the B'omarr Order, who inhabited the cellars removed his brain from his body and placed it in a spider-droid walker, much as the monks themselves used. During his time as a monk he made friends with the Quarren Tessek and the Whiphid J'Quille, who also became monks.

Joining the B'omarr Order[]

Assassination[]

Sometime around 10 ABY, Bib Fortuna had recently returned to the abandoned palace of Jabba the Hutt that the monks of the B'omarr Order still occupied and assumed control as the new ruling master. Before his return, Fortuna become obese while he spent his time getting a lot of servants and slaves to serve him. His rule over the palace was short for over a year when Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, who had just returned back to Tatooine following a rescue in saving a force-connecting child known as Grogu, arrived to take over the palace. While watching his guards getting killed, Bib still remained on his seat when he began to notice Boba by surprise. Instead of being hostile, Bib thought that Boba had just returned to serve as one of his bounty hunters and gave him a proud greeting. He recalled that Fett had died, and that he had heard many rumors. Instead of saying a word, Boba immediately shot Fortuna, killing him and assuming the throne in the palace.
