Boba Fett, originally code-named Alpha, was a Mandalorian warrior and bounty hunter. He was the only unaltered clone of the famed Jango Fett, created in 32 BBY as unit A0050, one of the first of many Fett replicas designed to become part of the Grand Army of the Republic, and was raised as Jango's son. Jango taught Boba much, training him to become a skilled bounty hunter as was his father-figure before him. In 22 BBY, Jango was killed at the Battle of Geonosis, which opened the Clone Wars. Just a boy, Boba was forced to grow up and took to traveling the galaxy. Later, he became a bounty hunter and took assignments from beings such as Jabba the Hutt, and achieved notoriety despite his young age.

When the Empire was formed in 19 BBY, it was the perfect environment for Fett. During this time, he also married Sintas Vel and had a daughter named Ailyn Vel. Fett became known as the galaxy's best bounty hunter of the next several decades, often working for the Empire. He collaborated with Darth Vader on several occasions, and the Sith Lord even developed a grudging respect for Fett. In 1 BBY, a year after the First Galactic Civil War had begun, Fett was hired to kidnap the Rebel captain Juno Eclipse in order to lure out a clone of Galen Marek. Fett also participated in the Battle of Kamino. When Darth Vader was captured and about to be interrogated on Dantooine, the Mandalorian bounty hunter trailed the Rogue Shadow there.

Fett made his most notable bounty in 3 ABY, when he captured Rebel hero Han Solo, and delivered him to Jabba the Hutt. A year later, during the Battle of the Great Pit of Carkoon, Fett fought against the group of Rebel rescuers. He was inadvertently knocked into the mouth of the Sarlacc by Solo. Though no one in recorded history had ever escaped from the Sarlacc, Fett was able to escape, though not unscathed. Thanks to his iron will and Mandalorian armor, he was able to fight his way out of the beast's belly. Back in action, he resumed his work as a bounty hunter. After losing his armor in 10 ABY, he would heal Fennec Shand. Fett and Shand later tracked the Mandalorian warrior Din Djarin, who had recovered Fett's armor, and agreed to help Djarin liberate the captive Grogu from Moff Gideon Lorin and his Imperial forces in exchange for Djarin returning the armor to Fett. After this, Shand and Fett travelled to Jabba's Palace, where they killed Bib Fortuna and claimed Jabba's old throne for themselves, with Fett becoming the new Crime Lord of Tatooine.

After a promise made to a dying Fenn Shysa, Fett became Mandalore and eventually led the Mandalorians through the Yuuzhan Vong War. Originally working as a mercenary for the extra-galactic invaders, Fett later aided the New Republic in their battle against the aliens. When the Yuuzhan Vong assaulted Mandalore and bombarded the planet's surface, a large deposit of Mandalorian Iron was unearthed, ironically helping to strengthen the Mandalorians. Later, during the Second Galactic Civil War, Boba, who was still leading the Mandalorians, was plagued by ailing health. He found his granddaughter, Mirta Gev, and the two went on many missions together, even alongside Han Solo. Fett also trained Solo's daughter Jaina to kill her twin brother, Darth Caedus, and assisted the Jedi Coalition in several battles. Ultimately, Fett's training helped Jaina bring down Caedus, though an Imperial nanovirus attack prevented Fett from ever returning to Mandalore.

Biography[]

First Galactic Civil War[]

Confronting Jodo Kast[]

Even as many people across the galaxy thought that Boba Fett had become nothing more than a half-digested morsel in the bowels of the Sarlacc, this gave advantage for him. Utilizing the less recognizable Slave II, Boba would go on to take only jobs from the most subtle and discreet clients. It became even worse when Jodo Kast, a would-be bounty hunter who managed to acquire Mandalorian armor in an attempt to imitate Fett, made others believe that he was the infamous bounty hunter. Boba, using the alias of Sava Brec Madak, hired Kast through House Benelex to hunt Satnik Hiicrop, who was also Boba in disguise. The background of the two fictional identities mirrored Boba and Kast with Hiicrop supposedly stealing business from Madak. In the end, Boba ambushed Jodo and had managed to finish him off by causing his jetpack to overload.

Hired by Brighteyes[]

After ending his -lived partnership with Dengar in the year 10 ABY, Boba Fett was then hired by Slique Brighteyes to eliminate Mir Tork and Leonis Murthé, both who served in the rank of commanders onboard an Imperial "Death Ship" called the Azgoghk. As Brighteyes provided the entire wealth of the last surviving Gulmarids, for which it was 100 credits total, the Mandalorian scoffed at such an offer and took it as an insult. Brighteyes told Boba how his name used to inspire such fear and respect throughout the Galaxy until his defeat at the hands of a Jedi at the Pit of Carkoon. He also appealed to Fett's code of honor and justice. Giving in to his claims, Boba accepted the job. After taking down the ship on Malicar III, Boba Fett returned to Brighteyes on Basteel with the severed heads of his targets and received his payment.

Survivial on Tatooine[]

Escaping the Sarlacc[]

During the same year he broke his partnership with Dengar, Boba Fett returned to Tatooine, for which he planned to take the throne of Jabba Desilijic Tiure. Upon arriving at the wreckage of the Khetanna, Boba was involved in a skirmish against a squad of stormtroopers of the Empire Reborn in 10 ABY. Boba managed to take down the entire squad, only for one of the stormtroopers HX-6669, nicknamed "Fire", to drag him down into the Sarlacc pit. For the second time in his life, Boba had managed to survive his fall, but had been knocked unconscious for an unknown length of time. Just as he awoke suddenly and gasping for air, Boba activated his helmet light and discovered HX-6669, who was responsible for pulling Boba Fett into the pit and would suffer the same fate as the Mandalorian Bounty Hunter. In hopes to escape the Sarlacc like he did before years ago, Boba yanked out HX-6669's air tube and attached it to his own helmet, and took a deep breath. Thinking quickly, Fett activated his flamethrower to burn through the Sarlacc's hide and dug himself out of the pit. Exhausted and suffering wounds from the encounter with the beast, Boba collapsed near the wreckage.

Some time later, he was then found by a group of Jawas, who proceeded to separate him from his armor, which Fett somewhat helplessly witnessed. When he attempted to resist their attempts at theft, Boba was knocked out by the Jawas and left for dead. His armor would later be given to the Tatooinian Marshall and Sheriff Cobb Vanth. As he was still injured and lying in the middle of a sandstorm, it wouldnd't be long when he was found by a tribe of Tusken Raiders who took him as a prisoner. Boba was forced to travel a very long distance by foot, dragged along in chains by a bantha ridden by members of the tribe. Even during the journey without his armor to protect him, Boba gave in to his dire pain, exhaustion, and dehydration and collapsed in the desert once more, dragged against the sand.

Prisoner of the Tuskens[]

Quest for his Armor[]

Finding Fennec Shand[]

During his search for his armor while on Tatooine, Boba came across a dying woman, known as Fennec Shand. Using his knowledge of cybernetics, he managed to save her life in a manner that left her with a gutful of working machine parts in place of the near-fatal wound she had earlier received from Toro Calican. In return, Fennec became Boba's new partner. Even as Fett continued his search with his new partner in 11 ABY, Cobb Vanth later gave the armor to the Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Din Djarin in exchange for his help in killing a krayt dragon that was terrorizing Cobb's home town of Mos Pelgo. As Din returned to Mos Eisley and his ship, the Razor Crest, he was observed by Fett, who had since gained a gaderffii stick and cycler rifle during his brief stay with the Tusken Raiders. After watching Din Djarin, Boba Fett descended from the hilltop where he had been standing.

Travel to Tython[]

Soon after, Boba Fett departed Tatooine with Fennec Shand on Slave I. Together, they tracked Din Djarin and Grogu to Tython, the ancestral birthplace of the Old Jedi Order. After a tense standoff, the two made a deal with Djarin to protect Grogu for his lost armor. However, Moff Gideon Lorin arrived on Tython and then sent down two Imperial ships. Stormtroopers tried to ambush the three, only before being attacked by Boba and Fennec, who made quick work of the troopers. Then, Gideon dispatched four Dark Troopers to abduct Grogu. After taking his armor from the Razor Crest, Fett explained to Djarin that it once belonged to his father and was thus rightfully his. Indebted to Djarin, Fett and Shand agreed to help Djarin rescue Grogu. As the Razor Crest had been destroyed by Moff Lorin's forces, Fett and Shand brought Djarin to Nevarro where Djarin met with Cara Dune, who was now a Marshal for the New Republic.

Morak[]

When Fett and the rest of the group arrived to collect him, Mayfeld confused Fett for Djarin due to his Mandalorian armor, which had now been re-painted. Realizing he had no other choice, Mayfeld reluctantly gave Djarin the location of an Imperial refinery on Morak where they could access information from a terminal. Djarin passed this information over to Fett, who then entered the coordinates. After arriving, the group stood upon a hilltop and formulated their plan. Fett explained that he could not go with Mayfeld to access the terminal, reasoning that the Imperial remnant may recognize his face, leaving Djarin to assume the role of Mayfeld's companion. Once Djarin and Mayfeld completed their mission, Fett flew in with Slave I to extract the duo. After boarding the ship, Mayfeld asked Djarin to give him one of the cycler rifles, which Mayfeld used to fire at the rhydonium within the refinery, destroying the cargo they had delivered and setting off a massive explosion. While being chased by two TIE fighters, Fett released a seismic charge, destroying the two pursuing ships. After Slave I had landed, Dune and Djarin decided to release Mayfeld from his prison sentence to thank him for his help. Onboard Slave I, Djarin sent a transmission to Moff Gideon, warning him that he would be coming to reclaim Grogu.

Attack on Gideon's cruiser[]

After acquiring Gideon's coordinates, Fett and the group used Slave I to pursue an Imperial shuttle carrying Doctor Pershing. After disabling the ship with Slave I's ion cannons, it was boarded by Djarin and Dune who, after a brief standoff, captured Pershing. Following this, Slave I landed on a desert planet as Fett and Djarin entered a cantina to speak with Bo-Katan Kryze and Koska Reeves. Djarin attempted to recruit Kryze to help rescue Grogu, but after she said they would not find Gideon, Fett suggested they leave. Upon hearing Fett's voice, Kryze and Reeves declared he was not a Mandalorian, and that he was just a clone of Jango Fett and a disgrace to his armor for insulting Mandalore. Fett and Reeves then entered a brief fight before it was broken up by Kryze, who declared that she and Reeves would help Djarin.

Following this, Fett followed the Imperial Shuttle piloted by Kryze in Slave I as part of her plan; to send out a distress signal to the cruiser whilst under attack from Slave I in order to board and take over the ship. As the group exited hyperspace, Fett began firing upon the shuttle as it sent out its distress signal. However, Gideon ordered for a squad of TIE fighters to intercept Fett's ship. In the ensuing battle, as Kryze crashed the shuttle into the cruiser's launch tube, with Fett disposed of the fighters before jumping away into hyperspace, leaving the infiltration team to finish their mission.

Some time after Din Djarin's attack on Gideon's cruiser, Fett and Shand returned to Jabba's Palace on Tatooine, now under the control of Bib Fortuna, who acted as Jabba's majordomo prior to his death. Fortuna expressed surprise at Fett's survival after he fell into the sarlacc pit. Without responding to him, Fett shot Fortuna dead and threw his corpse off the palace's throne.
