Death Trooper Encryption was a language used by the First Galactic Empire's elite Death Troopers. The troopers spoke the language using voice-scramblers built into their helmets, allowing them to communicate with each other without anyone being able to decipher what they were saying, as well as enhance their intimidating image.
The squad of death troopers that accompanied Director Orson Krennic to recover the scientist Galen Erso on the planet Lah'mu used the encryption as they made their approach toward the Erso Homestead. Another detachment of death troopers also used the encryption on Nevarro when flanking former rebel Carasynthia Dune in the cantina.
