The Confederacy of Independent Systems or the CIS or commonly known as the Separatists and the Separatist Alliance, or simply known as the Confederacy or Confederation and sometimes known as the Separatist-Confederacy, the Confederacy Alliance, and the Separatist Foundation was a group against the Galactic Republic. The Separatists moved away from the Republic since they were too corrupt and wanted peace.
