Tan Yuster was a Human Jedi Padawan who served the Old Jedi Order during the final period of the Galactic Republic. Apprenticed to Agen Kolar, Tan accompanied his master to the planet Geonosis to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Padmé Amidala from captivity, but was killed in action by the Separatist Droid Army.

Born in the year 39 BBY, Tan Yuster was found by Agen Kolar and taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. He spent his life learning the ways of the Force until he was selected by Master Kolar to become his padawan. As master Kolar's padawan, Tan successfully constructed his own lightsaber and would one day wield it in battle.
Before the Clone Wars was about to erupt between the Republic and the Separatist Alliance in 22 BBY, Tan went with his master and 200 Jedi that followed Mace Windu to Geonosis and rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Padmé Amidala from been executed by Count Dooku and the Separatist leaders. Storming into the Petranaki Arena, Tan and the entire strike team managed to rescue Kenobi, Skywalker, and Amidala in time. While fighting close to his Jedi Master, the two were separated. Shortly after, Tan Yuster was shot in the stomach and succubed to his wounds. His teacher deeply felt his death and was slightly disturbed by this event that should never had happened.
