  • Landai was a female Mirialan Jedi Master who served the Old Jedi Order during the Cold War and Galactic War against the Resurgent Sith Empire.

A female Mirialan from the planet Mirial, Landai was brought to the Old Jedi Order where he would learn the ways of the Force. After passing his Trials of Knighthood, Landai was elevated to the rank of Jedi Knight during the time when the Resurgent Sith Empire attacked Coruscant after the Treaty of Coruscant. She and many Jedi went on to the world of Tython, the ancient homeworld of the Jedi. There, she would later be elevated to the rank of Jedi Master.

In 3643 BBY, Landai was a member of a group of Jedi led by Jedi MasterSurro, and the group adopted a sixth line to the Jedi Code. The team served as the Republic's scouts on the planet Balmorra after Grand Marshal Cheketta's defeat at the Balmorran Arms Factory, and the group suffered a loss when one of their number, Danak, was killed by Imperials after being exposed by a Twi'lek named Ivo. Six years later, the group—now officially known as the Sixth Line and in the employ of the Republic Strategic Information Service—was deployed on the planet Ziost by Theron Shan, the son of Jedi Knight Satele Shan and Captain Jace Malcom. However, during the mission on the planet, Landai and her Jedi companions fell under the control of Vitiate, the former Sith Emperor who was thought to have been defeated on Dromund Kaas by a lone Jedi Knight, known as the Hero of Tython. During the Invasion of Ziost that followed, Vitiate used Landai and her friend, Master Onok, as puppets. Encountering an individual who was sent to stop Lord Vitiate, the two were defeated in battle in the People's Tower in the city of New Adasta.

    Behind the scenesEdit

Landai was first introduced in the short story The Sixth Line, released shortly before Game Update 3.2: Rise of the Emperor was added to the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. Landai and Onok appear in the mission "Dead Center" in the update, and players have a choice. For light side alignment points, players can shock Landai and Onok into unconsciousness, but the two would be killed when Vitiate unleashed a wave of death energy across the planet. For dark side alignment points, players would kill them.
