  • Sergeant Pedric Tosh was a Human male from the Mid Rim planet of Naboo who served as a Palace Guard of the Royal Naboo Security Forces. Before the beginning of the Clone Wars, Tosh traveled to Coruscant where he escorted Senator Padmé Amidala when she wanted to vote on the Military Creation Act that was proposed in the Galactic Senate of the Republic during the final year of the Separatist Crisis. However, he was later killed when Senator Amidala's J-type diplomatic barge exploded during the plot to assassinate Senator Amidala. The Senator that Tosh escorted, turned out to be one of Amidala's handmaidenss, Cordé, who was used as a decoy.

Born on the world of Naboo and its moons for over eight generations, Pedric Tosh applied himself to join the Royal Naboo Security Forces during the final decades of the Old Galactic Republic. Married to an Along with Lieutenant Theomet Danlé, Pedric Tosh eventually came to serve the Chommell Sector's representative in the Galactic Senate, Senator Padmé Amidala, former queen of Naboo.

When the growing Separatist Crisis threatened the stability of the Galactic Republic in 22 BBY, Pedric accompanied Senator Amidala onboard the J-type diplomatic barge and journey to Coruscant in order to vote against the Military Creation Act. As the barge touched down on a landing platform and the passengers disembarked, Tosh was perished in the blast which was set by the bounty hunter Zam Wesell. However, it is revealed that Senator Amidala had not been on the ship at all, and instead, one of her handmaidens, Cordé, had taken her place, and died in her stead.

    Behind the scenesEdit

Tosh's name was first revealed in the Rogues Gallery department of Star Wars Insider 145. Tim Veekhoven, Kevin Beentjes and Sander de Lange, who contributed to the article, envisioned him as the uncle of Jann Tosh, a character from the TV series Star Wars: Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO.
