Shenayag was a Miraluka female Sith Lord who served as a member of the Brotherhood of Darkness. Alongside Borthis, Hezzoran, Kas'im, Orilltha, and Qordis, she served as master in the Sith Academy on Korriban, and bred for any new Sith Warriors to zoom within the Brotherhood. As Kaan and all the Sith gathered on Ruusan to destroy the Army of Light, Shenayag went there, and died then to Ruusan as any other Sith in the Brotherhood. For over a thousand years, she remained trap in the ancient Force prison with many other spirits, and would go on to take her path towards the light side. In 5 ABY, she was later released after a young Jedi named Kyle Katarn defeated Inquistor Jerec, and became one with the Force.

A female Miraluka, Shenayag was dicovered to be connected to the Force, and learned the ways of the dark side of the Force. During the war, Shenayag served as an instructor at the Sith Academy on Korriban. Along with LaTor, Qordis, Orilltha, Kopecz and Kas'im, the Sith were called away from Korriban to meet with Lord Kaan, Dark Lord of the Sith. The Dark Lord offered them a chance to unite and fight together against the Old Galactic Republic and the Old Jedi Order. She was claimed the title of Dark Lord in order to end the waging campaigns against each other. As the war began to spread across the galaxy, Shenayag became a notable member of the Brotherhood of Darkness.

During the Seventh Battle of Ruusan, Shenayag and the sith retreated into the depths of Ruusan caves where they witnessed the creation of the thought bomb by Kaan and LaTor. Following Kaan's guidance, the Thought Bomb's effect would not kill her or the other sith, and that it would only exterminate the Jedi, but they were wrong. The Thought Bomb was meant to kill all force-sensitives, which includes the Jedi and Sith. The Army of Light moved in for their final encounter against the Sith, and Shenayag fought for her last breath until Kaan activated the Thought Bomb. All the Jedi and the Sith were wiped out from the battlefield, and the souls were consumed into the force nexus where they would remain trapped for eternity. During her imprisonment, Shenayag went on to take her step towards the light side. A thousand years after the Battle of Ruusan, Inquisitor Jerec went to search for the Valley, and consume the Thought Bomb's power for himself. The spirits of the Jedi and Sith were eventually released after Kyle Katarn, the son of Morgan Katarn, defeated Jerec, and became one with the Force.
