  • Yerem was a male Zeltron Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the final decades of the Republic's rule.

    Biography[]

A Force-sensitive male Zeltron, Yerem hailed from the world of Zeltros and was discovered by the Jedi at a very young age. During his early years, Yerem was educated in the ways of the Force by the Old Jedi Order. After passing his Trials of Knighthood, Yerem was soon elevated to the rank of Jedi Knight, and would later move on to become a Jedi Master. Master Yerem was later appointed as an Academy Instructor at the Coruscant Jedi Temple. He taught beginning courses of the technique of levitation, and one of his students was Jedi Knight Jax Pavan.

Yerem continued serving as an instructor when the Clone Wars, a galactic conflict that began to spread all over galaxy between the Republic and the Separatist Alliance. He refused to serve in the rank of General of the Grand Army of the Republic and remained at the Jedi Temple until the war's end. In 19 BBY, after the battle of Coruscant, Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palaptine, who was known as Sith Lord Darth Sidious, issued Order 66 to all the Clone Troopers in the Grand Army, commanding them to execute their Jedi Commanders and Generals. In the beginning of the Great Jedi Purge, Yerem was stationed in the Temple when the 501st Legion, led by Darth Vader, stormed the temple to kill all the Jedi. Despite his attempt to defend the Temple against a sheer number of troopers, Master Yerem was among many of the Jedi that perished in the terrible massacre. Pavan recalled Yerem's lessons while attempting to survive during the dangerous times of the Galactic Empire.
